PaceSetters
of the Fox Cities
Keeping Fit & Having Fun!
Who are the PaceSetters?
A
club for those who like running & walking...
just for the
fun of it.
The
PaceSetters of the Fox Cities is made up of active individuals
and families with the common interest of friendships, exercise
and better health & nutrition. From the
non-competitive recreational runners and walkers to seasoned
veterans of numerous marathons and ultra-marathons, the
PaceSetters band together at year round fun events designed
for all abilities. In addition to weekly run/walk events
and monthly fun run/walks, the PaceSetters put on 4 events
that include 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk races and the annual
Cheesehead Half Marathon (13.1 miles).
The PaceSetters want to help those interested in running
and walking but have no clue how to get started. Running
101 is just the class for beginners, novices and those who
used to run but have not done so for quite a few years.
Walkers have weekly outings on Saturday mornings.
Want to learn more? We provide guidance in training
for events like the Fox Cities Marathon Weekend of Races.
Our monthly meetings include both local and nationally known
speakers. We also have a "Night at the
TimberRattlers" and throw in a couple of parties as well.
The Pacesetters of the Fox Cities is a 501(c)3 tax exempt,
non-profit running club dedicated to increasing activity,
improving nutrition, enhancing our community's and member's
enjoyment of the sports of running, jogging, walking and
individual health activities for all ages and abilities.
